Graphene is a super strong type of membrane that can be used for computer chips, but can also be used in light bulbs instead of a filament.
IBM has developed a super fast transistor using the graphene material capable of 100ghz!

Here comes USB 3.0!

New usb 3.0 to be the standard for usb devices pretty soon, it will obviously be much much faster then 2.0. But will you need to upgrade your motherboard to use it? Well im pretty sure you will have to, unless there will be some way to take your laptop or PC to your local computer store and have them upgrade just the individual usb ports them self. But probably not. Im not sure if that would work., it looks like the 3.0 is a lot bigger then 2.0 as of thickness.

Western digital is the first to release products with the usb 3.0 incorporated.

Kindle Touch?!

I dont really know much about it, well im not sure if there really is much more to know about the kindle touch. Its just a rumor but Ive read that there’s suposably a new kindle on its way with touch. Basically all i think anyways is its the same old thing but with the ability to maybe flip the pages with your finger and scroll with your finger.
I don’t know we will have to see.

‘Dead mouse decade’ =( or? =)

I think this will be the decade of witch the mouse slowly dies, with everything going to touch
who needs or would want a mouse after a few years?

Although one thing I could see it sticking around for awhile for is PC gaming, I can’t imagine trying to play halo with a touch screen. Plus I don’t think you could. But unless something comes along to change the way we play PC games like it did for example the Wii or maybe soon XBOX, then maybe the mouse will survive the deadly slow extermination by the touch screen or any other form of UI controll.

Its true! (Apple’s new Ipad)

Yep! the new apple ipad did come out, i watched the live feed of the announchment on live.twit.tv and followed the pictures on gdgt.live.

I think its ok but is seams like its just a bigger version of the iphone with a little bit different UI, it didnt seam all that great as far as new technology. Althought there was one thing that was suprissing was the price range starting at $499, i thought it would at least be somewhere around $800 to $1000 mark.

anyways some things i think its missing are

a camera

wireless capabuility/for transfering media and other things.

extendable memerory like flash or sd card, i think it lets u put in a card but not for hard drive purposes just to download pictures and files is all/basically a built in card reader.

Office 2010 Beta =)

All that there is to say is that microsofts goal to improve every office release is going well because after watching many videos and reading articles, office 2010 seems to be just what people have bin asking for.

Google’s new Nexus one smartphone!

Just a few days ago Google released its long talked about 3g smart phone the nexus one, comments are that it has a amazing sharp clear screen, much better then Apple’s iPhone, and even more so then the droid phone.

But the down side to this cool gadget is that its using AT&T’s network, instead of the one that most people prefer, Verizon Wireless. Although many people hope to see Google switch to Verizon.

Another tablet?

Microsoft has announced that they are developing a tablet much like Apple’s tablet apparently its going to incorporate the features of the ZuneHD and there surface computing technology.

The question is will Apple react to this… maybe make it bigger, as in better?

Apple’s Tablet

The long trail of rumors about the new Apple tablet of someshort has come to a end.

Supossably its scheduled to be releashed in early November at price of $700. to $8.00. Its just now awaiting aproval from Steve Jobs Apple CEO

So yes its what weve bin waiting for, now we can stop waiting to see if its true and start waiting for it to come out.

It will be announced sometime in September and realeased in November.
